Questions

    Question

I have watched few lectures of Mr Mohammad Sheikh of IIPC. In these lectures, he was preaching his UN-ISLAMIC and BATIL (false) beliefs/concepts such as Denial of Ahadith, denial of SHAN-E-NAZOOL, Denial of Hazrat ISSA's ( A.S) return, etc. More so, according to him, women are not required to wear Hijab even in prayers. Contrary to unanimous and established Islamic trachings, he declares interest of the Bank as halal and maintains various shameful/Un-Islamic or batil and kufaria believes. His lectures are even available on U -tube. I am very confused. Some people say that you also have link with them. What do you think about Mohammad Sheikh of IIPC? (Abdul Hameed - Karachi)

    Answer

Arrahman Arraheem Network and its members have no link, affiliation or connection with Mohammad Sheikh, his organization IIPC and their false believes, whatsoever. The views of IIPC are Kufria and are rejected by all the respected Ulema-e-Karaam. According to our respected Ulema-e- karam, unanimously, all the associates of IIPC are Munkar-e-Hadith and Gustakh-e-Rasool (SAW).
We, at Arrahman Arraheem Network, are working as humble Ummatis of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), Khatimun Nabiyeen (the Final Messenger/Prophet) and always seek guidance from the Seerat & Hadith of our beloved Prophet (SAW). We respect all Ulema-e-Karaam and seek guidance from them and even consider discussing IIPC as our Tauheen. Our lectures and programs are the testimony of our believes, which can be seen on our website – they speak for themselves. Unfortunately, during mid 90s, Mr Babar Chaudhry had the occasion of attending some lectures of this man. However, soon upon knowing his BATIL (false) believes/concepts, he immediately refrained himself. Furthermore, he repented towards Allah and thanked him for saving his IMAN. Since then, he remained disassociated from him, to date. May Allah save everybody's IMAN from such kind of people and keep us all under his blessings. AMEEN. Thank you for your concern.

    Question

I have noted that Mr. Ali Afzal Khan is not seen in your programs these days. What you have to say about this? (Mrs. Sameera Chaudhry - Islamabad)

    Answer

Ali Afzal Khan used to visit our centre but he is no longer associated with Arrahman Arraheem Network since 2006 in any manner whatsoever.
Any of his dealings and believes are his individual matter with no obligation on Arrahman Arraheem Network.

    Question

Undoubtedly the 9/11 catastrophe has changed world politics and the image of Muslims all over the world. Terms like fanatics, fundamentalists and extremists are used for Muslims.

My question is how can we as Muslims remove these misconceptions and improve the image of Islam. (Naeem Akhtar - London - United Kingdom)

    Answer

Besides creating awareness amongst the educated class about the importance of Qur'an and Seerat of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in our day to day lives, one of the objectives of Arrahman-Arraheem.com is to remove the misconceptions about Islam prevailing internationally by conveying the true spirit of Islam. The very word Islam means ‘Peace’ and peace and war do not go together. Islam teaches Universal Brotherhood and treats all humans as equal. Tolerance, patience, ability to forgive and forget, to be helpful and to sacrifice selflessly for others are the some of the traits of our beloved Prophet (PBUH) which a true Muslim has to follow. Allah's qurb (closeness to Allah) does not depend on cast, color, creed, gender or wealth but on Taqwa (consciousness about the commands of Allah Almighty). In the commands of Allah given in the Holy Qur'an is the Raza (pleasure) of Allah. If we adopt the basic principles of Islam as given in the Holy Quran then only can we be true Muslims. As Allah says in:

Surah 49: Al Hujrat (Ayat 13)
“O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may know one another. Verily, the most honorable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has At-Taqwa [i.e. one of the Muttaqun (pious). Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.”

According to ALLAH Almighty all human beings are equal and Allah for their identity made them into nations and tribes but the most pious amongst humans in the sight of ALLAH is the one who is with Taqwa (consciousness).

    Surah 5: Al Ma’aida (Ayat 32)
“Because of that We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. And indeed, there came to them Our Messengers with clear proofs, evidences, and signs, even then after that many of them continued to exceed the limits (e.g. by doing oppression unjustly and exceeding beyond the limits set by Allah by committing the major sins) in the land!”

The above command of Allah categorically condemns Terrorism /Murder/ Killings.

Likewise the same consideration has been emphasized in the following Hadith of Prophet (PBUH)

“Those who are not kind and merciful on the mankind, then Allah is not kind and merciful to them as well.”

Surah 4: An Nisa (Ayat 135)
“O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah; even though it be against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, be he rich or poor, Allah is a Better Protector for both (than you). So follow not the desires (of your hearts), lest you may avoid justice; and if you distort your witness or refuse to give it, verily, Allah is Ever Well Acquainted with what you do.”

There is No Extremism in Islam. One can observe in the light of this ayat that ALLAH orders us to do justice without any Discrimination.

Surah 4: An Nisa (Ayat 36)
“Worship Allah and join none with Him in worship; and do good to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, Al-Masaakin (the poor), the neighbour who is near of kin, the neighbour who is a stranger, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (you meet) and those (slaves) whom your right hands possess. Verily, Allah does not like such as are proud and boastful.”

One can see in the light of this ayat the practice and behavior of a Muslim towards Humanity.

    Surah 41: Fussilat (Ayat 33 –to- 35)
And who is better in speech than he who (says: My Lord is Allah (believes in His Oneness), and then stands firm (acts upon His Order) and invites (men) to Allah and does righteous deeds and says: I am one from the Muslims.

The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil deed) with one which is better (i.e. Allah ordered the faithful believers to be patient at the time of anger and to excuse those who treat them badly): then verily he, between whom and you there was enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend.

But none is granted it (the above quality) except those who are patient and none is granted it except the owner of the great portion (of happiness in the Hereafter i.e. Paradise and of a high moral character) in this world.

A well known Hadith of Prophet (PBUH) is “A Muslim is the one from whose speech and hands other Muslims are safe”

Muslim is the one who lives in Peace and shares peace with the whole mankind so if we follow these commandments of Allah and his Prophet (PBUH) we can not only remove these misconceptions about Islam but can also show them the way towards peace and universal brotherhood.

    Conclusion:

If we show all the above qualities in our character (ground reality), the misconceptions would automatically be removed.

    Question

WHAT AL-QURAN SAY ABOUT PEOPLE SPREADING RUMOURS AND ACCUSING EACH OTHER ?

    Answer

Narrated by Abu Huriarah that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) (PBUH) said:
"The signs of a hypocrite are three: whenever he speaks he lies; whenever he makes a promise, he breaks it.; and whenever he is entrusted with someone's valuables, be betrays this trust; even if he fasts and prays and even if he claims he is a Muslim."

ACCORDING TO PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) THE SIGN OF MUNAFIQUE (HYPOCRITE) IS THAT WHEN HE HEARS ANY INFORMATION OR GOSSIP HE SPREADS IT AROUND WITHOUT CONFIRMING / VERIFYING IT.

    SURAH AL-HUJURAT 49 – AYAAT 6:
O you who believe! If a rebellious evil person (FASIQ) comes to you with a news (RUMOURS), verify it, lest you harm people in ignorance, and afterwards you become regretful to what you have done.

IT IS VERY CLEAR FROM THE ABOVE AYAT AND AHADITH THAT WHOEVER SPREADS RUMOURS WITHOUT FIRST CONFIRMING (TASDEEQ) IT AND VERIFYING IT HE IS ACTUALLY DENYING THE ABOVE AYAT AND PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) HAS LABELED HIM AS MUNAFIQ. SUCH PEOPLE ARE NEITHER SINCERE WITH ALLAH NOR WITH PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) AND NOR CAN BE SINCERE WITH OUR AWAM (NATION) AND COUNTRY.

SURAH AL-HUJURAT 49 – AYAAT 12: O you who believe! Avoid much suspicion, indeed some suspicions are sins. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would feel disgusted (so hate backbiting). And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is the One who accepts repentance, and is Most Merciful.

IT IS VERY CLEAR FROM THE ABOVE AYAT AND AHADITH THAT ANYBODY SPREADING RUMOURS IS A MUNAFIQ IN THE SIGHT OF ALLAH AND SHOULD ASK FOR REPENTANCE FROM ALLAH. OTHERWISE

SURAH AL-BURUJ 85 – AYAAT 10: Verily, those who put into afflict torture (put into trial by false allegations) on believing men and believing women, and then do not turn in repentance, (to Allah), will have the torment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the burning Fire.

    Question

WE OFTEN SEE DIFFERENT SCHOOLS OF THOUGHT FIGHTING WITH EACH OTHER OR HURTING THE FEELINGS OF EACH OTHER BY GOSSIPING / SPREADING RUMOURS IN THEIR SPEECHES ? WHAT AL-QUR'AN SAYS ABOUT THIS?

    Answer

THIS IS A VERY GOOD QUESTION.......

NOT ALL OF THEM ARE SAME. THERE ARE FEW PEOPLE LIKE THESE WHO HAVE DIFFERENT MOTIVES IN THEIR LIVES... UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS OUR BAD LUCK ....... PEOPLE WHO ARE DOING THIS ARE NOT SINCERE WITH ALLAH AND PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) AND MAY HAVE COMMERCIAL MOTIVES TO DIVIDE AND RULE AND THEY ARE THE DENIERS OF THE TEACHINGS OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW).

PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) SAID "A true Muslim is none other than the one who - whenever he speaks or takes an action, others do not feel threatened in respect of their lives, property and wealth because he lives in peace (Islam) and shares it with others".

WE REPEAT AGAIN ..... WHOEVER SPREADS RUMOURS VIOLATES THE ABOVE HADITH AND DENIES THE TEACHINGS OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW). WE ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO GOSSIP AGAINST EACH OTHER BUT WE HAVE TO GIVE DAWAT (INVITE TO THE WAY OF ALLAH).

SURAH AL-NAHL 16 – AYAAT 125: Invite (DAWAT) to the Way of your Lord (i.e. Islam) with wisdom (i.e. towards Qur'an) and fair preaching and argue with them in a way that is better. Truly, your Lord knows best who has gone astray from His Path and He is the Best Aware of those who are guided.

THE REASON PEOPLE GOSSIP AGAINST EACH OTHER IS THAT THEY HAVE LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF QUR'AN AND AL QUR'AN EDUCATES US THAT WE MUST NOT PUT ALLEGATIONS ON EACH OTHER AND SAY "HE OR SHE IS WRONG", BUT WE HAVE TO EDUCATE THEM AND GIVE DAWAT.

SURAH AL-MAIDAH 5 – AYAAT 32: Because of that We ordained for the Children of Israel that if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind; and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. And indeed, there came to them Our Messengers with clear proofs, evidences, and signs, even then after that many of them continued to exceed the limits (e.g. by doing oppression unjustly and exceeding beyond the limits set by Allah by committing the major sins) in the land!

FROM THE ABOVE AYAT IT IS CLEAR THAT WE SHOULD GIVE DAWAT AND DO AHSAAN EVEN WITH THE ENEMY. WE GIVE YOU AN EXAMPLE WHICH WE LEARNED IN SCHOOL ABOUT OUR PROPHET MUHAMMAD'S (SAW) CHARACTER. A WOMAN USED TO THROW GARBAGE ON PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) WHEN HE USE TO PASS THROUGH HER NEIGHBOURHOOD BUT PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) NEVER COMPLAINED AND NEVER EVEN SAID A WORD TO HER. ONE DAY SHE DIDN'T THROW GARBAGE ON HIM.ON ENQUIRY AS TO WHY SHE DID NOT APPEAR THAT DAY PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) CAME TO KNOW THAT SHE WAS ILL. KNOWING THIS FACT PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) 'THE MERCY FOR ALL MANKIND' VISITED HER PLACE TO FIND OUT HOW SHE WAS FEELING. WHEN SHE SAW PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) SHE WAS STUNNED AND SURPRISED AS TO HOW MERCIFUL AND GRACEFUL PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) WAS. SHE REPENTED AND IMMEDIATELY EMBRACED ISLAM. WE SHOULD LEARN FROM THE CHARACTER OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) AND REPEL THE EVIL DEED WITH THE ONE WHICH IS BETTER.

SURAH AL-FUSSILAT 41 – AYAAT 34: The good deed and the evil deed cannot be equal. Repel (the evil deed) with one which is better. Surely! he, between whom and you there is enmity, (will become) as though he was a close friend.

SO FROM ABOVE IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT WE HAVE TO DO AHSAAN (REPEL EVIL WITH MERCY) EVEN WITH THE ENEMY.....BECAUSE GARBAGE IS NOT ONLY THROWN BY HANDS BUT IT CAN BE THROWN AT EACH OTHER THROUGH THE TONGUE AS WELL, BY GOSSIPING ABOUT EACH OTHER. WE SHOULD FOLLOW THE FOOTSTEPS OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) FOR WHOM ALLAH SAID HE IS "WAMA ARSALNAKA ILLA REHMAT-UL-LILL ALAMEEN" (WE HAVE SENT YOU AS A MERCY FOR ALL MANKIND) AND STOP HATING EACH OTHER AND COMMENTING ON EACH OTHER. WE SHOULD FOLLOW THE PROPHET MUHAMMAD'S (SAW) CHARACTERISTICS OF AHSAAN, FORGIVENESS AND EDUCATING EACH OTHER WITH A HUMBLE AND BEAUTIFUL WAY OF PREACHING AND THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE OUR DUTY AS A MUSLIM UMMAH. WE SHOULD SHOW PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) SUNNAH IN OUR CHARACTER AND NOT JUST BY MOUTH AND INSHALLAH HATRED WILL BE OVER SOON AND WE WILL START LOVING EACH OTHER.

    Question

The kind of activities being undertaken by the website Arrahman-Arraheem.com requires consistent source of finances. Who is funding the website Arrahman-Arraheem.com? (Dr. Imran Nazeer - California - USA)

    Answer

We are a non-profitable non-commercial website carrying out our activities on self-help basis. Students of Arrahman-Arraheem.com contribute towards this noble cause whenever the need arises. The spirit amongst the students is such that just like one individual bears the expenses of his family, like paying for children's school fees, utility bills, groceries, taxes etc. Similarly they also consider it their duty in the light of the following Ayat

    Surah Baqra 2 Ayat 254
"O you who believe! Spend of that with which we have provided for you, before a Day comes when there will be no bargaining, nor friendship, nor intercession. And it is the disbelievers who are the Zalimun (those who ignore the ayaat of Allah)"

Here we would like to point out one fact that whenever an effort is undertaken, in the way of Allah with sincerity and devotion, Allah opens the doors of Khair and Barakaat; and this is one of the greatest miracle of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) He produced maximum result from minimum resources.

    Question

What are your views about the role and importance of Ulema-e-Karam? In reference to different complex fiqqahe-masail, do you rely on your own judgment or refer these to knowledgeable Ulema-e-Karam / Mufti Hazraat?

    Answer

    Yo
u have put up a genuine question. In this regard the most important fact to realize is that not a single Muslim can overlook the importance and role of our Ulema-e-Karam. They have dedicated and spent all their lives in the research, propagation and preaching of our religion and Allah Almighty has guided us in this regard in:

    Surah Fatir 35 Ayat 28
And so amongst men and crawling creatures and cattle, are they of various colours. Those truly fear Allah, among His Servants (Ulema-e-Karam), who have knowledge: for Allah is Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving.

    Surah Fatir 35 Ayat 29
Those who rehearse the Book of Allah, establish regular Prayer and spend out of what We have provided for them, secretly and openly, and hope for a commerce that will never fail:

    Surah Fatir 35 Ayat 30
For He will pay them their meed, nay, He will give them (even) more out of His Bounty: for He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Ready to appreciate (service).

Accordingly all Ulema-e-Karam belonging to any school of thought are most respectful to us and we highly appreciate their efforts in this respect. However with reference to specific fiqqahe-masail, I always refer them to Ulema-e-Karam because they have a comprehensive command over these masail and their solutions. As far as my efforts are concerned, I would like to quote the following extract of the last sermon of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW):

"Preach my Risalat (message) onwards, even though it may be an Ayat"

In the light of the above Hadith of Khatam-un-Nabiyeen Prophet Muhammad (SAW), all Muslims including myself are duty bound as primarily responsible to create awareness about the basic principles of Deen thereby motivating the public in general to make them realize their due responsibilities that the Deen-e-Haq reaches every single corner of the world. That is the reason why we emphasize on fazail-e-deen like for example the core principles of Islam, that is the distinction between Halal and Haram, every day to day problems of a general Muslim and to enable him to learn the relevant Ayaat of the Holy Qur'an and Ahadiths of Prophet (SAW) and ordain them.

    Question

What does our religion Islam say regarding living with Non Muslim community

    Answer

A famous Hadith of the Holy Prophet (PBUH ) is "A Muslim is the one from whose speech and hands others are safe"

If you ask any human being whether he would like to live in 'peace' or 'war' one would naturally say 'peace' ….. And 'peace' in Arabic means Islam.

A true Muslim is a balanced personality in every walk of life irrespective of his surroundings. As also reflected from ethical considerations in the Holy Quran in the following Ayat:

    Sura An-Nisa' (4) : 36
"Worship Allah and join none with Him in worship and do good to parents, kinsfolk, orphans, Al-Masaakin (the poor), the neighbor who is near of kin, the neighbor who is a stranger, the companion by your side, the wayfarer (you meet) and those (slaves) whom your right hands possess. Verily, Allah does not like such as are proud and boastful."

History has evidenced the prime example set by the Holy Prophet (PBUH) 14 centuries ago when he suggested signing a ten-year peace treaty with the Quraish known as the famous "Sulah Hudaibya" and accepted the conditions that were oppressive to Muslims. This was done in expediency to avoid blood shed and to reinstate future possibility of spread of Islam.. Dealings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in day to day life are footsteps for us to follow in. Allah acknowledged the character of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) in the following words in the Holy Qur'an:

    Sura Al-Ahzaab (33):21
"Indeed in the Messenger of Allah (Muhammad SAW) you have a good example (Uswa-e-Hassana) to follow, for him who hopes in (the Meeting with) Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much."

For another practical example, we can recall the pattern set by Prophet (PBUH) on the event of Fatha-e-Makkah (Victory of Makkah) 1400 years back. Despite the fact that hardships were enforced upon Muslims of Makkah and they were forced to migrate to Madina; on the occasion of Fatha-e-Makkah (Victory of Makkah) Prophet (PBUH) announced, in public, for open forgiveness to all. These included enemies who had martyred relatives of our beloved Prophet (PBUH) and caused hardships for Muslims. It was this peace loving attitude of the Prophet (PBUH) that inspired the non-Muslims to embrace Islam.

The distinct attributes of Islam and the logic behind it can only be appreciated when one gains the experience of living in a Non-Muslim Society. This is the only way one can embrace Islam by choice and not merely by being born in a Muslim family.

    Sura Al-Hujurat (49):13
"O Mankind! We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that you may recognize one another. Verily, the most honorable of you with Allah is that (believer) who has At-Taqwa (one who is conscious of Allah's instructions). Verily, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware."

Islam speaks about righteousness (Taqwa) i.e. consciousness of the Creator's commandments. Islam does not believe in male / female, caste, color, creed, genders, school of thought or wealth. Islam treats all human beings as equal but the nearest or closest to Allah is the one who is conscious / righteous (Taqwa). Consciousness of Allah commandments makes you a balanced person.

A Muslim is a balanced personality as Allah says :

2 Surah Al Baqarah ayat 143
"Thus We have made you (Muslims) a balanced nation (Ummat e Wast)"

Being a balanced personality, a Muslim submits to the command of Almighty Allah and follows the path that pleases his Lord. Thus he gives the people around him (his parents, his family, his colleagues, friends etc) their due rights and respects the law of the land where he resides, as he is a peace loving citizens, besides being a true believer. Whoever follows the golden principles laid out by Allah Almighty can never be attributed as a fanatic, fundamentalist, or an extremist:

A true believer who follows the system of Allah and obeys the commands of Allah as addressed in various Ayats of "O you who Believe!" always:

He practices what he preaches. (As Saff 61 ayat 2-3)

He is straight forward in his statements and speaks within the confines laid down under Allah's Law. (Al Ahzab 33 ayat 70

Refrains from drinking wine, gambling, image worshiping or talking in air; and does not follows the footsteps of Shaitan. (Al Maidah 5 ayat 90)

He is always in control of his emotions and intelligence and is ready to forgive and forget. (Aale Imran 3 ayat 133)

He is always patient and strives in Allah's cause with his heart and soul (Aale Imran 3 ayat 200)

He is always in the self accountability mode in from of Allah's Will and is always ready to be accounted for.. be it even against himself or his dear ones. (An Nisa 4 ayat 135)

He always respects his parents and elders and gives them their rights that they truly deserve. (Al Israa 17 ayat 23)

He is always down to earth, humble and possess all the traits that a true gentleman is worthy of. Thus this makes him a priceless asset for any society.(Al Furqan 25 ayat 63)

Therefore without being prejudiced of religious background a Muslim carries the noble character as described in the aforesaid Ayats of the Holy Quran and conveys the message of peace and universal brotherhood (Islam) through his actions and speech.

    Question

The Hamd-e-baritallah and Naat-e-rasool-e-maqbool by Najam Sheraz (a presentation by arrahman-arraheem.com) raises the spirits and touches the hearts of all the Muslims and the followers of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). It is an unprecedented piece of work, which will be a legend for all times.

Each verse of the Hamd & Naat is full of message of Quran and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and shows the love and importance of Prophet (SAW) in our lives. The NAAT especially expresses the feelings of the Muslim ummah and gives Muslims all round the world a chance to ask for forgiveness from Almighty Allah. This work has been appreciated by the masses locally as well as outside Pakistan, they want to congratulate Najam Sheraz and want to know whether it would be continued by arrahman-arraheem.com) in the future?

    Answer

Thank you for the compliment. These are just a few words of expression we have tried to deliver to show the importance of Allah and Prophet (SAW) in our lives. We got thousands of emails from different countries around the world and we are MashaAllah surprised that this is very good and positive response. We would continue to work for the cause of Allah and Prophet (SAW) in the light of Quranic teachings.

    Question

WHAT DOES AL-QUR'AN SAY ABOUT THE LAST PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) BEING KHATAM-UN-NABIYEEN?

    Answer

    Sahih Bukhari : Volume4, Book 56, Number 661:
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, "The Israelis used to be ruled and guided by prophets: Whenever a prophet died, another would take over his place. There will be no prophet after me".

    SURAH AL-AHZAB 33– AYAAT 40:
Muhammad ( SAW) is not the father of any man amongst you, but HE is the Messenger of Allah and the last of the Prophets (Khartoum-un-Nabiyeen). And Allah is All Aware of everything.

ACCORDING TO THE COMMAND OF ALLAH, AS GIVEN IN THE ABOVE AYAT AND AL-HADITH, THERE IS NO PROPHET AFTER HAZRAT MUHAMMAD (SAW). WHOEVER DENIES PROPHET MUHAMMAD AS KHATAM-UN-NABIYEEN (THE LAST PROPHET) IS ACTUALLY DENYING THE KALAMA-E-TAYYABA AND THEREFORE CANNOT BE CALLED MUSLIM.

    Question

WHAT IS THE IMPORTANCE OF AL-HADITHS OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) IN ISLAM? SO MANY GROUPS, ISLAMIC CENTERS DENY AHADITHS, CAN YOU PLEASE CLARIFY ?

    Answer

    Sahih Bukhari : Volume 4, Book 56, Number 667:
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr: The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, "Convey (my teachings) to the people even if it were a single ayat, and tell others the stories of Bani Israel (which have been taught to you), for it is not sinful to do so. And whoever tells a lie about me intentionally, will surely take his place in the (Hell) Fire."

THIS HADITH IS USED TO GIVE THE EXPLANATION OF THE COMMANDMENTS (AYAAT OF ALLAH) IN QUR'AN. ACCORDING TO THE ABOVE HADITH ANYBODY DENYING AHADITH DIRECTLY DENIES THE TEACHINGS OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW). AS YOU KNOW THERE ARE BOTH ZAEEF AND MUSTANAD AHADITH, SO THE AHADITH HAS TO MATCH WITH QUR'AN AND NOT CONTRADICT IT. IN SHORT AHADITH AND QUR'AN GO TOGETHER AND WITHOUT AHADITH THERE IS NO QUR'AN.

    Question

DO YOU HAVE ANY AFFILIATION/ASSOCIATION WITH ANY ISLAMIC ORGANIZATION, GROUPS OR ISLAMIC CENTERS etc.?

    Answer

WE HAVE NO AFFILIATIONS/ASSOCIATIONS WITH ANY OF THE AFOREMENTIONED. OUR OBJECTIVE IS TO CORRECT OURSELVES AS A MUSLIM AND TRY TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF OUR LIVES. THIS IS NOT THE DUTY OF ANY GROUP BUT IT IS THE DUTY OF EVERY MUSLIM INDIVIDUAL TO IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE IN THEIR HOUSES AND IN THE COUNTRY AND THEN TO IMPROVE THE IMAGE OF ISLAM IN THE WORLD BY BECOMING A BETTER MUSLIM AND A BETTER PAKISTANI.

    TIRMIZI : Book (TALEEM-UL-QURAN), Number 2907:
Narrated 'USMAN bin AFFAN': THE BEST AMONGST YOU IS THE ONE WHO LEARNS AND TEACHES THE QUR'AN.

    SURAH MUHAMMAD 47 – AYAT 02:
And those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, and believe in that which is revealed unto Muhammad - for it is the Truth from their Lord,- He will remove from them their ills and improve their condition.

    Question

WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS WORK OF THE QUR'AN?

    Answer

    TIRMIZI : Number 2913:
Narrated 'IBN-E-ABBAS': A PERSON WHO DOES NOT HAVE EVEN A PORTION OF QUR'AN IN HIS HEART IS LIKE A DESERTED HOUSE.

    Sahih Bukhari : Book (QAUL-E-NABI), Number 70:
Narrated 'IBN-E-ABBAS': AT ONE OCCASION PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) HUGGED ME AND PRAYED "O ALLAH! GIVE HIM THE KNOWLEDGE OF QUR'AN".

    SURAH AAL-E-IMRAAN 3 – AYAAT 187:
And when Allah took a contract from those who were given the Book, to make it known and clear to mankind, and not to hide it; but they threw it away behind their backs [totally ignored it], and purchased with it some miserable gain! And vile was the bargain they made!

ACCORDING TO THIS AYAT AND AHADITH WHOEVER HAS BEEN GIVEN THE BOOK SHOULD READ IT WITH MEANING AND UNDERSTANDING AND EXPLAIN IT TO MANKIND. BECAUSE MANKIND DOESN'T ONLY MEAN MUSLIMS BUT MANKIND INCLUDES PEOPLE FROM OTHER RELIGIONS AS WELL. IF WE DON'T HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE OF QUR'AN HOW ARE WE GOING TO EXPLAIN IT TO MANKIND AND CLARIFY THEIR WRONG CONCEPTS ABOUT ISLAM. THIS IS NOT THE DUTY OF ANY GROUP OR INDIVIDUAL, IT IS THE DUTY OF EVERY MUSLIM. WHOEVER IS THE FOLLOWER OF ALLAH AND PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW) HAS A DUTY TO SPREAD THE MESSAGE OF THE QUR'AN TO THE BEST OF HIS ABILITY. THE REASON EVERY INDIVIDUAL SHOULD SPREAD THE MESSAGE IS BECAUSE NO INDIVIDUAL PERSON CAN SPREAD THE MESSAGE THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE WORLD BY HIMSELF.

    Question

WHY SHOULD WE READ THE QUR'AN? WHAT DO WE GAIN BY READING IT OR LOSE BY NOT READING IT?

    Answer

SURAH AL-BAQARAH 2 – AYAAT 2: This is the Book (Al Qur'an), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are (want to be) Al-Muttaqûn (of Allah).

THIS IS THE ONLY BOOK IN THE WORLD CLAIMING THAT THERE IS NO DOUBT IN IT. NO OTHER BOOK CAN CLAIM THIS BECAUSE THIS IS THE WORD OF ALLAH, A GUIDANCE FOR ALL OF HUMANITY.

    SURAH AL-BAQARAH 2 – AYAAT 185:
Ramazan is that month, in which Qur'an was revealed, as a Guidance for mankind, it has open and clear Ayaats, for Guidance and Furqan (The criteria between right and wrong). So every one of you who witnesses this month should spend it in fasting, but if anyone is ill, or on a journey, then the prescribed period should be made up in the later days.Allah intends easiness for you and not difficulties. So that you may complete the prescribed period and glorify Allah, in that He has guided you and so that you shall be grateful.

    TIRMIZI : Book (TALEEM-UL-QUR'AN), Number 2907:
Narrated 'USMAN bin AFFAN': THE BEST AMONGST YOU IS THE ONE WHO LEARNS AND TEACHES THE QUR'AN.

THE QUR'AN IS A GUIDANCE FOR MANKIND AND IT CONTAINS ALLAH'S CRITERIA OF RIGHT AND WRONG. IF WE DO NOT TAKE GUIDANCE FROM IT, WE WILL BE LIVING ACCORDING TO OUR OWN CRITERIA OF RIGHT AND WRONG.

SURAH AL-YUNUS 10 – AYAAT 57: O Mankind! There has come to you a good advice from your Lord (i.e. the Qur'an), and a healing for that (disease of ignorance, doubt, hypocrisy and differences, etc.) which is in your breasts - and is a guidance and a mercy (explaining lawful and unlawful things, etc.) for the believers.

IN THE QUR'AN THERE IS HEALING FOR ALL THE WRONG CONCEPTS LIKE SHIRK, BIDDAH AND MUNAFIQAT. IT ALSO HEALS ALL KINDS OF DEPRESSION, TENSION, INFERIORITY AND SUPERIORITY COMPLEX, PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEMS, SEPARATISM, SECTARIANISM, HATRED ETC. KNOWLEDEGE AND PRACTICE OF QUR'AN MAKES AN INDIVIDUAL A BALANCED HUMAN BEING, LIVING IN ISLAM (PEACE) AND SPREADING THE MESSAGE OF PEACE THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. IN THE QUR'AN THERE IS HEALING FOR ALL TIMES AS LONG AS MANKIND EXISTS.
