All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. We all want to live freely and want people to respect our dignity and basic rights. Therefore, it is the responsibility of each one of us to work for this cause and ensure we not only give rights to each other but also ensure that we do not do any act that infringes human rights of others. Who better than the Creator to tell us how this can be managed? Arrahman Arraheem Network in this spirit has been working on several fronts to promote women rights, traffic sense, education, awareness of drug abuse, poverty alleviation, rights of special persons. Islam does not allow injustice in any form on the basis of caste, colour or creed. Arrahman Arraheem Network is working to highlight the injustices which lead to the problems within society and is trying to create the awareness that the world would be a safer and happier place to live in if everyone gave and received their due rights equally. Such is the importance of human rights that it is also supported internationally. Article 1 of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) refers to the basic rights and freedoms to which all humans are entitled. Human rights include civil and political rights, such as the right to life and liberty, freedom of expression, and equality and justice before the law; social, cultural and economic rights, including the right to participate in culture and religion, the right to food and basic utilities, the right to work and earn a decent living, and the right to education. |
